My Dog is Cooler Than Your Dog...

I am Cait Leary. I am a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I sneeze a lot. I like burritos. I have no problem giving hugs to strangers. I want to meet your mom.

...also, my dog is cooler than your dog...

I just got these stickers!  For real.
If you want one for your trapper keeper, you’re going to have to come to one of my shows sometime :)

DULUTH FASHION BLOG: on location in NYC.
New York: Civilized. Classy. Cosmopolitan. New York has the cozy, trendy, euro feel on lock down. Most everyone who lives here walks, talks and wears the epic-ness of this place like it wasn’t a thing. They don’t have to try too hard. They’re New Yorkers. That is what fashion is all about. You know you got it, and that knowing isn’t half the battle, it’s winning the battle. Okay, so I’d wager that people out here generally spend a smidge more on clothes and accoutrements than the average rural farmer spends on feed. So what? They embody the art of looking good, feeling cool and talking to strangers. Can you tell I’m in LOVE?
Without getting too redundant, I want to explain the term “euro feel” for those who haven’t traversed the big water, because I think it warrants an apropos conceptual expansion. First off, it should be noted that Europe was doing what we now do in the US wayyy before it was cool. The people, in their historically relevant cities own a cultural identity that, unfortunately, many of us are hopeless to ever ascertain. They don’t wonder who they are nearly as much as we do. They just are who they are.  That, to me, is what New Yorkers are like (besides being incredibly friendly. Shhhh! It’s a secret!).
FASHION TIP: Watch people. What does their fashion sense says about them? Don’t judge! Now look at what you’re wearing. What does it mean?
